Ladies Night

The past week has been a bit of a right-off in terms of attending classes and being productive. The students (not all) of CPUT have once again decided it was time to strike, not the peaceful strike one would tolerate, but rather their typical lets destroy everything in our path type of strike. Needless to say I made the decision to stay as far away from this mayhem as possible.

I managed to be a lot more productive on Friday as I went to work at Realmdigital, where I am the marketing assistant. Anyway after a long week and a long working day, I arrived home, called my friend Sarah to find what was on the cards for the night ahead. It was at this point that I found out it was LADIES NIGHT and this always means copious amounts of Gossip, laughter, alcohol and fun!
We started off getting lost on the way to the restaurant we had chosen to have dinner at, “What’s on Eatery”, a great start if I say so myself. So as we walking down the street and Sarah is trying to find out where we are going we see the managers head sticking out of door of the restaurant and we all scream with laughter and he being extremely gay throws up his hands and screams just as loud, this is when we knew we were in for a good night. Next thing Jeanne, the big blogger and tweeter of the group jumps of twitter only to discover the gorgeous gay manager had tweeted about us…”Welcome – yay at last – nothing like 4 hot girls in heels walking down Watson Street”, well we thought that was an awesome welcome and had to laugh.
The wine was flowing, the food was amazing and the laughter didn’t stop. After a good couple of hours we decided we had tormented the other (half dead) customers enough and decided to head to Zula Bar. We headed in grabbed a couple of drinks and went on up to the first dance floor. We proceeded to get more drinks and try out the other dance floors in the new venue.
We eventually dragged ourselves out of Zula at around 4am after a fabulous night out on the town with the ladies. Nothing can ever beat a good ladies night.
